I don’t usually do a post on a Monday, but today is special.
I am introducing my first contest! It’s called the Celebrity Moment Photo Contest! and no, you don’t need to be a celebrity to win!
So what do you have to do?
Submit a photo of your dog in their ‘celebrity moment’ (or the closest they’ve come to one). It can really be anything.. heck, you don’t even have to be a dachshund! All photos need to be submitted to the “Celebrity Photo Contest Tab” on my Facebook Page. The deadline for submitted photos is Saturday, January 28 at midnight.
You can submit photos starting…. wait for it… Now!!
How do you win?
Invite your friends to vote for your photo. Each person can only vote for one photo per day. Voting starts directly after the photo submission deadline, and the dog/photo with the most votes by Saturday, February 4 at midnight wins! So encourage your friends to go and vote for your little buddy and they might become the next doggy celebrity!
What do you win?
The photo/dog with the most votes by the deadline will win the following awesome prizes:
– A featured post of your dog on my blog – for all to see what a celebrity they are!
– A pawtographed photo of me!
– A collection of my favorite squeaky toys!
Who can enter?
Anyone – er, anydog. You don’t even need to be a dachshund!

I wasn’t going to enter because we don’t have any “celebrity moment” shots but then I saw that the contest is much more open. I will let you in on a little secret…just between you and me. It’s really more of a personal quirk than a secret I guess. I don’t really like contest where you have to get your friends to vote to win. I wish you luck in your contest but I just don’t have the time to promote us so we won’t win anyway 🙁 I DO look forward to seeing who the winner is.
